Things to do
Nelson Bay is a blue water paradise, activities include Deep sea fishing, sea kayaking, sailing, surfing, scuba-diving, dolphin spotting and whale watching are just some of the options on the shores of Port Stephens.
Port Stephens is home to the largest sand dunes in the southern hemisphere. Activities ranging from Sandboarding, Camel Rides to exploring the sand dunes driving in your own 4WD (beach permit must be purchased).
There are also a number of fantastic Golf courses, numerous paths and walkways around the coastline and tours which take you to the Hunter Valley and other bays/ beaches of Port Stephens.
